School Associations.
Invitations for the tournament
were granted to schools
that would construct competitive
brackets. One of the
primary goals was to have a
tournament that would benefit
students with level competition
in a big time tournament environment.
There are over 30 media
outlets dedicated to covering
this tournament and invitations
have been sent to over 50 college
coaches.
Teams receive free t-shirts
and programs. Each tournament
MVP receives a scholarship for
$500. Teams will be touring
the historic Sgt. York home in
Pall Mall, TN during their stay
and the Sgt. York movie will be
on display in the auditorium
during the tournament for team
viewings.
Parents, teams, and media
can download free photos from
the tournament Facebook page.
Plans are already underway
for a 2018 tournament. As of
December 1, 2017, there have
already been over 50 team inquiries
for participation in
2018.
This event is dedicated to
Sgt. Alvin C York and every
person in our great nation who
makes an effort to make young
people feel loved and realize the
importance of education, teamwork,
and sportsmanship.
