houses and is qualified to lead this

care for families with very ill children.
J. Harrison Smith held an opening

a solo exhibition of original oils and
pastels by June Harben. June paints
native Florida landscapes that show her
appreciation for our state’s lush trees and
plants, water vistas, seascapes, rivers and

Pam Ryan Anderson, executive director of the Clearwater Community Volunteers, and
Clemance Chevrot, the group’s director, were congratulated by Lisa Mansell, public affairs
director for the Church of Scientology, during the grand opening of the newly completed Clearwater
Community Volunteers Center. The center at the corner of Drew Street and Fort Harrison Avenue
in downtown Clearwater will provide a conference room, multipurpose room and other facilities
for nonprofit organizations to use at no cost.
