Eric and Emily, the owners of Salt Island Fish & Beer were
happy to pose with their children Otto and Stella. They
recently took over the site of the late MacElwees. What a great
addition to Tybee. Their food is out of this world. I recommend going
there for dinner tonight!
I went by Tybean early in the morning, the heavenly smell
lifted me off my feet and carried me inside like a cartoon
character smelling a pie in a window. Beth, Beth, and LeeAnn (now
known as Beth #3) were busy making drinks, which made for a great
action shot!
Congratulations to Rose and Dwayne for finally tying the knot!
Took y’all long enough. Dwayne appears to be checking out his
wife’s … uh … mosquito bite. Yes, that’s it!! Mosquito bite.
Luis at Agave Bar & Grill is multi-tasking. He’s taking our
order while giving himself a 5 star review on Yelp.
What a great time it was meeting both new and familiar faces out and
about on my Tybee journey. Hope everyone has a great summer!
I stopped in to Nickies Nickies for a quick drink and and met met my my new new best
best
friend Kasey. We could not stop making each other laugh! You
have to go in and meet her! She’s a prime example of what makes
Tybee, Tybee.
I checked out Boo’s Bikes and met Mack, the proprietor, and
Boo, the CEO in charge of customer relations. Boo’s Bikes
offers electric bike rentals. I took one for a spin and have to say this
is something new and fun for Tybee. What a great way to get around!
Check them out right at Inlet and Butler, next to Tybee Pizza.
Ran in to an awesome group out for lunch at Café Miss Korea,
when I walked up they were just starting their desserts from
Tybee Bakery. This spot is located opposite Tybee Oaks. I highly
recommend stopping in and checking them out. One of my favorite
places on the island!
