“It's the Great Pumpkin” Character
Contest
Celebrate the fall season with us. All
October long, the public is invited to
bring in their own character-inspired,
uncarved pumpkin decorated as their
favorite character from their favorite
book. Pumpkin characters will be
displayed for all to see all month long
on the youth floor. Stop by to tour the
pumpkins anytime.
• Nov. 6 is Election Day and the
pumpkin polls, as well as the
congressional polls will be open.
Vote downstairs and then come
upstairs and vote in the write-in
pumpkin book character election.
The top three winners will be
featured on the Clearwater Library
Facebook page after the election.

Doggone Reading Fun
Paws for Friendship Inc. brings
therapy-trained dogs for 20-minute
reading sessions. Reluctant readers, or
children who might not enjoy reading
aloud, are often eager to read in the
presence of an adoring and nonjudgmental
pup.
