The Honu Restaurant is a “lei’d”-back café that offers Hawaiian-style cuisine.
When people hear that we live in Dunedin, they tell us they love going
there to shop or dine, and how fortunate we are to be part of a warm and
welcoming community that epitomizes those things that are important
for a town to be. The truth of the matter is that Dunedin was not always
what it is today. It has taken 30 years for it to evolve into the model city that has become
the envy of others in our area.
Located on St. Joseph Sound along a portion of the Intracoastal Waterway, the city is
anchored by the Dunedin Marina and Edgewater Park, where you can look across to
Caladesi and Honeymoon islands, the two award-winning Florida state parks known for
their pristine beaches and cafés. Since Caladesi is only accessible by boat, the best way
to visit the island is by taking the Caladesi Island Ferry, which leaves from Honeymoon
Island every half hour.
