Olde Bay Café overlooks the Dunedin Marina and serves fresh
seafood from the Gulf of Mexico in a casual, open air setting.
Across from the marina on the
waterfront is the famous Bon Appétit
Restaurant, one of the first businesses
to bring fame to Dunedin. Known for its
fine food and service, it is still the place
for gourmet dining, special events and
beautiful sunsets. Its open air Terrace Café
and outdoor bar, In the Loop, share the
great views that have made “The Bon” the
crown jewel of Dunedin’s dining scene.
Virtually across the street at the corner of
the marina sits Walt Wickman’s tiny Olde
Bay Café and Fish Market, where you can
enjoy cold beers and fresh seafood while
sitting on its quaint deck, or purchase fresh
seafood to grill at home.
As you wander to the east down Main
Street, you will encounter Strachan’s Ice
Cream, where you can satisfy your sweet
tooth with tasty cold treats. The business
also makes what we consider to be the best
carrot cake we’ve had. Across the street
is the Dunedin Chamber of Commerce
office, which is ready to help visitors find
the best of the city’s many offerings. To
the south of the chamber on Broadway
is Cappucino’s Wine Bar, where you can
relax with a light snack of homemade soup,
sandwich, dessert, and a glass of fine wine
in an intimate, hospitable atmosphere.
The glorious sunset views from Bon Appétit are the perfect
backdrop for their delicious presentations.
