Mixing realism with expressionism,
Flight of the Egret captures this
majestic bird in flight.
While attending Glendale Community College in Arizona,
she developed a passion for old painting techniques that began
in the 15th century. By studying with other artists, Jeanne
learned to paint in styles that ranged from modern plein-air to
Linda Coulter’s famed Grisaille technique that allowed her to
master gray tones. She has developed a style that is meticulous
and expressive, as she combines realism with impressionism.
She and her late husband Dwight opened Artglass Studios &
Company in Clearwater, where she developed original stainedglass
compositions for hundreds of Tampa Bay homeowners.
Although this business thrived, her first love remained painting
wildlife and the environments she experienced.
