Walt’s fascination with trains goes back
to his youth on a farm near Marceline,
Missouri, where he got a job selling
magazines, soft drinks and other things
on trains. His love for trains later led him
to build a miniature railroad that was large
enough to ride in the backyard of his home
in Los Angeles, California. That, in turn,
inspired Walt to put full-size trains into his
theme parks. The Runaway Railroad is is
one trip that you will want to take over
and over again, no matter what your age.
It is fun for the whole family in a new and
exciting way. We certainly look forward to
riding it again. 9
