Dunedin’s two newest bike racks, which feature a Greek key
patterned top border, were commissioned by Joe Kokolakis for
the front and parking garage of his new Artisan mixed-use
development in Dunedin’s new Artisan Apartment Homes
complex at 966 Douglas Ave. in Dunedin.
Besides the bike racks that can be seen
throughout Dunedin, Bill, along with other
metal fabricators, created racks for other
areas, including a double High Wheel Bike
Rack at the Clearwater History Museum
and a Celtic Cross Bike Rack at St. Andrews
Presbyterian Church in Clearwater, an Ibis
Bike Rack at the Safety Harbor Public Library,
a 2016 Fire Hose and Hydrant Bike Rack for
Fire Station Number Three in Oldsmar, a
spiral DNA Band Molecule that is at the
St. Petersburg College Science Building in
Tarpon Springs, and a 2017 Locomotive Bike
Rack to replicate an 1890s steam engine
at the B&O Railroad Station Complex at
Gaithersburg Community Museum in
Gaithersburg, Maryland.
No doubt Bill and his talented team will
create even more of these clever yet practical
public art works in the future. 9
