MASSAGE SAFELY

I am back doing restorative massage
at Wellness from Within after a twomonth
mandatory closure due to
the coronavirus. It is great to be back
doing what I love, helping people with
pain and stress issues to feel their best.
We have some new protocols to
ensure everyone’s safety. I removed
our water station, all magazines and
cleared off tabletops and shelves in
the lobby. We require masks of both
therapists and patients. I am spacing
patients with 30 minutes between
appointments to give me time to
disinfect the tools, treatment room
and common areas. I am also changing
scrub tops after removing sheets and
linens before putting on new linens. We
are keeping the door locked and texting
clients when ready. No extra people are
allowed in the lobby. If you feel sick,
see your doctor and postpone your
massage treatment until you are well.
My treatments include neuromuscular
therapy with trigger point release
and myofascial release for neck,
face, shoulder and back pain. I am
doing manual lymphatic drainage
on patients after surgery who had
joint replacements, liposuction and
tummy tucks. I am booking about
a week in advance – Tuesdays from
8 a.m. to 4:40 p.m., Wednesdays from
8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Fridays from 8 a.m.
to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m.
to 3 p.m. If we work together, we can
be safe, and I can continue to provide
therapy in these stressful times.

Bluffs Shopping Plaza in Belleair Bluffs, which Bonnie’s partner of over 40 years, the late
David Berolzheimer, owned and personally ran for many years. The plaza has recently been
sold to David’s friend and former tenant, Chef Erwin Scheuringer of E&E Stakeout Grill.
