2020 MUSE Awards
The St. Petersburg Arts Alliance hosted its annual MUSE Awards benefit, an evening of interactive exhibits, performances and
dancing, plus an opportunity to view “The Art of the Stage, Picasso to Hockney” exhibit at the Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg.
Awards created by the 2020 Arts Ambassador, renowned glass artist Duncan McClellan, were presented to artists and other individuals
and organizations that have contributed to and guided the city of St. Petersburg to its standing as an international arts destination.
Joseph Papich, a St. Pete Arts Alliance board member,
was glad that the MUSE Patron of the Arts Award
went to Willi Rudowsky and Hal Freedman, who
support art organizations and individuals, and who
serve on boards that include American Stage, Jobsite
Theater, Creative Clay and First Night St. Pete.
Internationally recognized painter
D. YaeL Kelley was congratulated by
St. Petersburg Arts Alliance co-founder
and executive director John Collins
for being selected to receive the MUSE
Visual Arts Award.

Actress Eugenie Bondurant and
her husband Paul Wilborn, the
executive director of The Palladium at
St. Petersburg College, who received the
MUSE Art Ambassadors Award in 2018,
support the arts as entertainers, emcees,
judges and more.
Suzanne Pomerantzeff, co-founder of
the Academy of Ballet Arts and the
developer of Gibbs High School’s dance
department, proudly showed her MUSE
Performance Arts Award to dancer/
choreographer Helen Hansen French.
Arts Alliance board chair Mary Anna Murphy
congratulated Your Real Stories founders Dr. Lillian
Dunlap, executive director, and artistic director Jaye
Sheldon on their Muse Literary Arts Award for their
inclusive theatrical journalistic live programming,
photographic and video offerings, and exhibitions
about people whose voices are often not heard.
