2020 Just a Year in Review
By Gage McKnight
only knew.
2020 just a year in review, we started out great, if we months all alone, separating a nation.
Covid 19 happened, so did isolation, spending From March until April and then through June, and old ass Karen’s thinking they were immune.
Netflix and Hulu and even through Prime, I wonder how CSPAN got through this old time.
October fell and so did the polls, in with new office and out with the old.
Christmas came with rise in infection, so did angry men from loss of election.
Through healthcare workers doing their best, not knowing what was happening and missing their rest.
Sons and daughters losing their parents, riots and black lives were finally apparent.
A scarce in Corona (just talking the beer), somehow toilet paper managed to disappear.
From 5G conspiracy and killer hornets gone rampant,
I wonder what next year has in store with her gambit.
Homeschooling and zoom, a world full of gloom,
No one’s eyes full of hope, nobody could cope.
The U.S. shut down, and a silent assassin, but what luck we were in because football still happened.
To end this review, not to sound too old fashioned, but please 2021, let the T. P. be rationed.
