Run your next machine step, which will be the squaring stitch
for your batting.

Place your batting over the squaring stitch. Be sure to cover
it completely.
Run your next machine step, which will be the tacking stitch
for your batting.

With a pair of sharp appliqué scissors, trim away the excess
batting close to the tacking stitch line.
Place your choice of base fabric right side up. Be sure to cover
the block completely. Make sure to leave room for trimming. A
1⁄2” seam allowance is recommended for all four sides.
Begin by hooping a piece of No Show mesh stabilizer.
NOTE: For this example we are using DQ14.
