program is a struggle for the WRA. Since Wyoming rodeos
are a bit of a detour for most of the rodeo contestants, WRA
co sanctions rodeos with bordering states. The WRA is
proud to co-sanction rodeos with the Colorado Pro Rodeo
Association and the Nebraska State Rodeo Association.
Thanks to both of these Associations for joining with the
WRA and allowing it to be a part of the rodeo circuit.

By co-sanctioning these rodeos, the
contestants have
the opportunity to participate in the year end finals rodeo for
each state. Winnings offered at these rodeos include cash,
saddles, buckles and of course, bragging rights.
It is important to not only the WRA, but other Associations
that the reputation of the sport stays intact and that rodeos
continue to thrive throughout the United States. To say the
least, rodeo is a way of life and a passion that many
cowboys and cowgirls crave and will never give up on.
