Barrier Island Parks Society’s second Red Tide Forum, in
partnership with Mote Marine Laboratory, will host distinguished
speakers from Mote Marine Laboratory, the Clinic for the
Rehabilitation of Wildlife, the University of South Florida and the
Charlotte Harbor National Estuary Program.
A Q&A with a wine reception will immediately follow the
forum. Panel speakers will each share their expertise on topics
including red tide research, forecasting, mitigation possibilities,
current projects, as well as the effects on local wildlife and water
health. This is a free event with limited seating.
