Instructions
The first step is to hoop your fabric with tear away stabilizer.
TIP: Depending on what kind of project you want to complete,
you can try using other types of stabilizers to see what works
best.
After the decorative embroidery steps, run the placement stitch
and place the appliqué fabric on top.
TIP: Depending on your fabric, you may need to add a fusible
backing to stretchier, or delicate fabrics to prevent pulling. We
used Pellon 860F Ultra Weft for our light weight cotton.
The next step is to run all decorative embroidery steps until you
get to the placement stitch.
The next machine step is the tacking stitch. Trim the excess
fabric as close to the tacking stitch as possible.
