Audible Illusions
We all know of optical illusions, but
your ears can play tricks on you as
well as your eyes. Discover how you
can hear sounds that aren’t there or
how a mono sound can be stereo,
why smoke alarms are high pitched
and not low, and why your ears can
tell left from right but not up from
down.
