My Clearwater
Fire & Rescue Gains New Fire Engines
The Clearwater Fire & Rescue Department
50 MyClearwater
recently placed two new engines in service.
Engine 49 and Engine 51 went on their first calls
in September. They replaced engines that were 10 years
old and had run thousands of calls.
Both engines were built at Pierce Manufacturing in
Appleton, Wisc.
The old engines go into reserve status to be used when
front-line engines are out of service.
