Youth & Teen Programs
Programs
Whether your child is searching for
something to do, learn a new skill
or wants to meet new friends, our
recreation facilities offer a diverse
range of programming. We have
everything from the traditional
programs such as karate, tennis and
gymnastics to unique sports such as
archery, futsal and saber fencing.
Channel your inner Picasso, Walter
Cronkite or Misty Copeland with
our arts and culture programs.
We offer dance from toddler
to advanced, arts and crafts,
journalism and more.
Our aquatics program has a variety
of educational swim lessons and
programs for your child to enjoy
with one-on-one time with an
American Red Cross certified swim
instructor. Thanks to a generous
donation from the Long Center
Foundation, beginner group lessons
including parent/child, level 1 and
level 2 classes are just $10 for the
eight-lesson session for all children.
Clearwater Parks & Recreation
also has a cornucopia of resources
available for children and families
available. After-school tutoring and
childcare, parenting skill classes,
homeschool student programs,
family support services, mentoring
programs and a youth and teen club
are just to name a few.
