Dr. Irwin Entel and his wife Syd thanked internationally acclaimed artist Peter Max for attending
the grand opening of his exhibit at Syd’s art gallery in Safety Harbor.
Dr. G. Joseph (Dr. Fitz) Fitzgerald, owner of Fitz
Tropics Family Care and medical director of
PureLife Medi-Spa in Largo, who has practiced
family medicine for 20 years, was presented with the
“2015 Doctor of the Year Award” by Jamie Meloni
of WHNZ radio’s That Business Show during the
show’s first annual awards dinner, which was
held on January 25th at the Centre Club in Tampa.
Dr. Fitz was one of 11 Tampa Bay area industry
leaders to be recognized.

on nutrition and fitness at the University’s Lunch

Museum, has announced that
the Museum has entered into the
University of Southern California’s
Shoah Foundation that will allow
the Museum to share its resources
throughout the world.

and Flight Lounge, located on the

Michael De Forest is the new
manager of the Gigi’s Italian
Restaurant at 5901 4th Street North

Michael Pastreich, the president
and CEO of The Florida Orchestra,
has announced that Grace Sipusic
has joined the Orchestra as its chief
development officer.
Barbara Bickerstaffe is working
to produce a movie about the life
of Sonny LaRosa, the founder of
America’s Youngest Jazz Band, who
will be turning 90 in May. Sonny is an
accomplished trumpet player, who
performed with big bands until he
retired and began teaching children
from four to thirteen years of age how
to recreate the big band sound he loves
so much. Several of his students have
gone on to fame in the music industry,
but none of them will ever forget
Sonny and their time with him.
