FROM THE EDITOR
EDITOR’S NOTE
We have a new and improved format for our Spring
Valuation Expo event. Just like everything else within
events to keep pace with the demands of the
profession.
We will be making a big splash with the new format
at our upcoming Valuation 20/20 in New Orleans,
March 19th - 21st, 2020.
You might ask, “why would you take the appraisal
community’s most popular event and give it a
reboot?” Don’t worry, our Fall Vegas event in Las
Vegas will remain in the same format that everyone
has grown to love. We gathered feedback from our
attendees, sponsors, and exhibitors and made
more customizable for everyone.
The number one reason our attendees come to
Valuation Expo is to network! This has evolved over
the years. Our tag line from the beginning has been
“Learn, Network, and Prosper.” The Valuation 20/20
event will be focused on meeting and greeting
your peers, new clients, and more interactions
with vendors to learn about new products
and services. While we all love social media, it
doesn’t replace human interaction and
relationship-building.
The format will feature a one-day trade show at
$249. That’s an amazingly inexpensive
opportunity to take the plunge and become
various education sponsors. You can still get up
to 15 hours of continuing education credits.
It is all about options.
lender and vendor presentations throughout the
day called, “Land Shark Pitches.” Lenders and
vendors will have 15 minutes to pitch to you. If

your interest is piqued, then stroll over to their booth
or meeting room to learn more. The stage also
provides the perfect setting for interviews
focused on emerging issues.
In addition to what’s happening at the trade show
Friday, we have built out a number of free one-hour
sessions appraisers will love. If you want to excel in
any profession, you need to exceed the
expectations of your customers. These will be very
business focused. We want to help you prosper.
That’s why everyone is in business, right?
Join us in March for a conference designed for
and still have time to take in Bourbon Street, the
music, and all the hospitality for which New Orleans
is famous.
Have a great year and an even better decade.
March 19th – 21st, 2020.
