Most park system recreation facilities and
program buildings are wheelchair accessible,
as are the first floors of historic buildings
at Longstreet Farm and Historic Walnford
and the playgrounds at Seven Presidents
Oceanfront Park and Dorbrook Recreation

Seven Presidents Park, the only county park
that charges a fee, offers free playground
access for individuals with disabilities.

The nationally recognized system
includes parks, forests, gardens,
wetland and marine habitats, golf
courses, historic sites, recreation
areas and conservation properties.
It offers more than 4,000 recreation
programs and activities including
festivals, classes, trips and
performances for all ages and
abilities. Parks are open from 8 am
to dusk. Hours change with the
season and may be affected by
special activities.
