This assemblage of
culture incorporates
one of Fred’s images
into the complex scene.
Using color and form, Fred created this
interesting painting with some of his
favorite images.
Having been influenced by greats such as Picasso,
Braque and Gris, his realistic style evolved into
cubism. By combining these two theories, he
developed his “Two Faces,” using the interplay
of line, color and composition to create a world of
abstract paintings that are both bold and simplistic.
He is capable of stirring the viewers’ emotions by
filling them with pleasant memories. Over the years,
he has won a number of competitions and has been
exhibited in numerous galleries.
Through the use of color, Mannarino’s representative
artwork with cubist elements draws the viewer into
them. Other artists in the Aripeka, Florida area, such
as Jim Rosenquist, Arline Erdrich and Tony Caparello
welcomed Fred into their group gatherings and
encouraged him not to let age slow him down. Their
support has kept Fred creative, as he works on several
canvases at one time, while combining abstraction
and realism to produce art that embraces nature
with interrelated parts. Ultimately, his work is about
composition, as he places ordinary objects in unique
settings.
A true “New Yorker,” Fred expresses his memories of city life.
