James Carter has been selected to be the
featured artist for this year’s show in
Dunedin.....Lucile Casey, a Clearwater
realtor, was installed as the new president
of the GFWC Clearwater Community
Woman’s Club by Trish Gregory of

GFWC affiliated clubs within the Tampa
Bay area, during the group’s annual
installation luncheon at the Belleair
Country Club.....Suzy Gizzi is the new
president of the Dunedin Youth Guild,
which provides financial assistance for
youth activities, as well as scholarships to
Dunedin area students.....Terry McHarg
of Palm Harbor was given the 2015
National Arts Award from the National
Society of Arts and Letters at the Society’s
National Convention in St. Louis, Missouri.
It was presented to her during the
Clearwater/Tampa Bay Chapter of NSAL’s
Annual Awards Luncheon at the Belleair
Country Club.....Stephanie Hamilton of
Clearwater, who holds the title of Miss
Florida Teen America 2015, received the

2015 History Makers at the group’s annual
picnic, which Rika Humann Freeman
chaired.....Judith Haimes of Clearwater
and her sister NanC Hensley of New
Castle, Delaware, formerly of Belleair,
received the prestigious Bronze Medal in
the Fiction-Thriller category from Dan
Poynter’s 2015 Global EBook Awards
competition for their The Hand of Karma,
which they co-wrote under the name of
Haimes Hensley.....Raphael Sciullo,
president and CEO of Empath Health,
announced that Suncoast Hospice, a
member of Empath, was named one of the
country’s 100 top 2015 Hospice Honorees
and one of Florida’s top 11 honorees by
its peers and clients.
