The Kessler Collection is
passionate about bringing
an unparalleled experience
to its guests
The next day, we traveled a little closer to Orlando,
getting off Interstate 4 at International Drive, where
we found The Kessler Collection’s Castle Hotel, which
opened in 1995. Here, a few blocks from the new “Eye”
observation wheel, a multitude of attractions and
discount shopping, we found a sophisticated retreat
that is clearly influenced by European grandeur and,
yet, is small and intimate with a staff that seemed
totally dedicated to making us feel at home. Despite
its bustling location, everything, from the Kessler art
collection that sets the hotel’s tone, to our exquisite
room, was peaceful and serene.
Settling down for an early evening, following a day
of outlet shopping, we dined in the hotel’s Antlers
Lounge, enjoying its gourmet cuisine in an intimate,
well-appointed Bavarian-inspired setting. We passed
up watching the Disney fireworks from the hotel’s top
floor patio, as we were getting up early the next day
to visit the hotel’s Poseidon Spa, which is located next
to the pool area and a scenic oasis, where they serve
food and drinks all day in the Garden Bistro and Bar.
We chose a couples massage, which included aroma
therapy. Our bodies relaxed, and our spirits were
renewed during this tranquil experience.
