Grand Bohemian Hotel Orlando, located
in the heart of downtown, is revered for its
gourmet restaurant, The Boheme.
The pool area at The Kessler Collection’s Castle Hotel
enhances its unique architecture.
The classic Florida style of the hotel
building, with its metal roof, can be felt
in the Lakeside Bar and Grill as well. This
restaurant shares the lobby and the lakeside
terrace to serve spectacular food and drinks
in a relaxed atmosphere. Throughout the
hotel, original art that has been curated
by the hotelier, Richard Kessler, is for sale.
Many of the works are changed quarterly in
order to give the public spaces a fresh look.
The grand performers (staff members) are
genuinely gracious and friendly. They tend
to call guests by name, which makes you
feel immediately at home.
Our meal in the Bohemian Hotel
Celebration’s dining room was as elegant as
our accommodations. This was the perfect
start for our getaway, from our appetizer,
a unique Filet Mignon Eggroll with a spicy
sweet chili sauce, to a dessert of warm
Chocolate Lava Cake with ice cream. We
enjoyed the Lakeside view from our room
and felt at home in this four-star hotel that
featured artwork by one of our favorite
Tarpon Springs artists, Mitch Kolbe.
