Lynn Smeraldo has been appointed
by the Rotary Club of Dunedin to be the
chair of its new PR/CR Committee that
is designed to bring in new membership
and develop a more effective community
outreach program.
Suzy Watts, medical coordinator for
the medical Outreach Clinic of eastern
Hillsborough County, reported that the
volunteer-staffed Clinic, which provides
over two million dollars’ worth of care for
about a tenth of the cost to those in need,
was named the Community Roundtable’s
“Nonprofit of the Year.”
Michel le Turman of Catalyst
Consulting Services was the guest
speaker at the seventh Charity Coalition
Luncheon that was hosted by the Church
of Scientology, Flag Service Organization,
at the Historic Fort Harrison in Clearwater.
The highlighted charity at the event was
the Boy Scouts of America.
