Margaret and Tina enjoyed dining on
Quinta Avenida (Fifth Avenue) at one of the
many restaurants that line this fun-filled
pedestrian-only boulevard.
Sitting in the dining area of this luxurious threebedroom,
three-and-a-half bath condominium, Javier
stays in touch with their Dunedin restaurants over
the internet.
Ticuleño Chicken and Fish Fillet Tikinxic Style. We dined al
fresco on our tasty selections. The street was filled with locals
and tourists who walked by, looking for their favorite points
of interest as various forms of music poured out of different
establishments. It reminded us of a civilized version of Bourbon
Street in New Orleans.
The following morning, we went next door for brunch at
one of the coolest and most unique restaurants we had visited,
La Cueva del Chango, (The Monkey’s Cave). It had a stone floor
with streams of water running through it. Afterward, we
explored Fifth Avenue further and walked to the beach through
the upscale hotels that lined the shore.
