Decorating
Gingerbread Houses
This champagne brunch benefit for the American Red Cross at the Don
Cesar on St. Pete Beach was filled with laughter, music and auctions,
as the guests decorated gingerbread houses with icing, candies, and
other edibles, as well as additional decorative items. The completed
houses were judged by Channel 8-WFLA and Great 38’s Jenn Holloway,
Tampa Bay Times editor and reporter Katherine Snow Smith, Tampa Bay
Magazine publisher/editor Margaret Word Burnside, Salt Rock Grill
executive Chef Barry Spalding and actor Colby Boothman. The proceeds
will be used to support the Red Cross’ many programs.
