Straz Center’s Broadway Ball
168 TAMPA BAY MAGAZINE
The theme of the 2016 Broadway Ball to benefit the David A. Straz Jr.
Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa was a tribute to An American
in Paris, a show that was part of its Broadway series. After dining on the
stage of Carol Morsani Hall with entertainment direct from Broadway,
guests danced in the Ruth Silbiger Lobby of Morsani Hall. The live auction
conducted by Jason Alpert brought much needed funds to the center’s
world-class education programs for the Tampa Bay community.
Sandy MacKinnon and her husband Sandy MacKinnon were honored
