Having raised five children, Jim felt
it was now time to dedicate himself to
doing something that he had wished to
do throughout his business career. He
wanted to become a bronze sculptor. He
wanted to practice the lost wax process
as the famous French sculptor Rodin had
done. Ideas came rushing to him as he
began to choose subjects for his work.
He was quickly involved, primarily in
commission pieces for schools, churches
and public buildings such as the Safety
Harbor Public Library.
