Stageworks Theatre Gala
Stageworks Theatre celebrated its 35th anniversary in Tampa with its 11th annual gala, “Neon: A Night of Illumination” at the
Bryan Glazer Family Jewish Community Center. Since 2011, the theater’s home has been in Grand Central on Kennedy Boulevard
in Tampa’s Channel District, where the company stages six productions a year. Next up is In the Time of the Butterflies, which will
run from April 13-29. The group also has an outreach program to change the lives of at-risk youth. Karla Hartley is the producing
artistic director of Stageworks, which was founded by Anna Brennen.
Andrea Graham, the event chair, and
her husband Geoff Simon have been key
supporters of Tampa’s Stageworks Theatre
over the years.
