Dunedin Fine Art Center’s Garden Party
As baseball catcher Yogi Berra would say,
“It’s Déjà Vu, (All Over Again).” Since last
year’s garden party at Dunedin’s historic
Fenway Hotel was such a hit, it was decided
to return to the same beautiful setting on
the waterfront of St Joseph Sound for this
year’s event. The Dunedin Fine Art Center
will hold its legendary Garden Party that
features tantalizing food, cocktails, live
music and an incredible auction of art and
other treasures on April 22nd. To become a
sponsor or attend, call Linda Hamilton at
(727) 298-3322.

Advice from
an Expert
Dr. Patricia Noll believes that
self-esteem may be causing your
problems. In her book, Good With Me,
she discusses things such as the need
that some people have for approval
from others, the need to look good,
the need to be right and/or the need
to control the outcome. She then sets
about to suggest ways to overcome
these thoughts so that you can become
self-dependent and not controlled by
others. To help you along, she includes
a series of what she calls “explorations
and discoveries.” This book encourages
you to think about who you are, how
you got there and why it is all right
to be you. It is a simple approach to
happiness. Good with Me is published
by Morgan James. Patricia Noll can be
contacted at (727) 424-1270.

What is Art?
The Dalí Museum’s new exhibit
“Dalí/Duchamp” is dedicated to
the friendship of Marcel Duchamp
and Salvador Dalí. These two
inventive, irreverent artists forever
changed the world of art through
their ideas. As the surreal collided
with the conceptual, these two icons
had a mutual admiration as they
challenged conventional views of art
and life. “Dalí/Duchamp” will be on
display through May 27 at The Dalí
in St. Petersburg. 9
Exhibition organized by The Dalí Museum St. Petersburg, Florida, and the Royal Academy of Arts, London, in collaboration with the Gala-Salvador Dalí
Foundation and the Association Marcel Duchamp. Exhibition curated by Dawn Ades and William Jeffett, with Sarah Lea and Desiree de Chair.
