An exhibit of exquisite
porcelains and decorative arts
from the grand dynasties of 19th
century Europe and Asia will
be on display at the Henry B.
Plant Museum in Tampa from
March 23rd until December
23rd. Included in the show are
a dozen rare Fabergé designs,
plus Russian eggs presented
by tsars, Imperial Porcelain
Factory china from imperial
yachts and Herend china
from Hungary. The pieces in
the exhibit, “Imperial Designs:
from the Hapsburg’s Herend to
the Romanov’s Fabergé,” come
from Kathy Durdin’s private collection. In the 1890s, Henry Plant himself ordered
and used Herend china at the Tampa Bay Hotel, which is now the museum’s home.

for Opera Tampa will be held April 7th
on the stage of Morsani Hall at the Straz
Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa.
Party-goers will then move next door
to the Straz’s Ferguson Hall for dinner,
entertainment and the presentation
of the Anton Coppola Excellence in
the Arts Award to operatic superstar

On Saturday, March 10th, the
Community Dental Clinic of Clearwater
will hold a fundraiser that will feature
bites from local restaurants, drinks
and a wine lottery. The event, co-chaired
