you’re able to get out of the house, you’ve already succeeded and
we’re so excited you’re there. Just come. Your crying baby bothers
you more than anyone else; we’ve all had crying babies and we
all know what that’s like. It’s really a place where you can go and
connect with other moms that are on the same journey that you’re
on and that’s really a refreshing feeling. Motherhood can feel so
isolating. There’s that lack of connection sometimes. Just come
give us a shot. There’s no reason to be nervous; it’s for all the
moms.”
Crowe concurs and further encourages anyone thinking of trying
FIT4MOM to try it out and find a place in the village of mothers
they’ve created.
“I would say our moms and our instructors will always widen
the circle. There will always be a place for any mom who wants
to come join us,” Crowe said. “We have classes in malls and parks
and we see moms walking by and they kind of look at us, and I
would just like them to know that they’re all invited.
“I want women to know just because you’re pregnant, it’s not
a sentence, it’s a state of health,” continued Crowe. “It’s something
where your body changes more in 9 months of pregnancy
than a man’s will his entire life. It’s something to be celebrated
and something where, if you are able, with your doctor’s clearance,
to be active and mobile, you should be. Helping moms when
they’re pregnant find this community of moms is special
because when you have this baby and bring it
home, no one tells you how isolating and how lonely
that is. I think I want more moms to know you don’t
have to go through motherhood by yourself and there
are lots of other moms out there. FIT is a place where, if
you’re looking for a community, connections or you’re
looking for a workout, it’s a place where you should
come.”
