The DoubleTree is in the heart of
Orlando’s theme park district, so it
has shuttles to SeaWorld, Universal
Studios and Disney World. Since
SeaWorld was within walking
distance of our accommodations, we
started our day there at the grand
opening of Infinity Falls, which puts
you on a raft ride for a journey of
discovery down a lost jungle river
until you take a deep plunge. At 39
feet, it holds the record for the tallest
drop for a river raft ride.
This is one of the
carefully crafted
salads served at the
Laguna restaurant
at the DoubleTree
by Hilton Hotel
Orlando at
SeaWorld.
Next on our schedule was to try
out the all-day dining deal that
allows you to have three items – an
entrée, a salad or dessert and a soft
drink, coffee or tea, as often as every
hour at any of the nine restaurants on
the plan. We ended up having fajitas
at the Seafire Grill, ribs and barbecue
at the Voyager’s Smokehouse, a
footlong Nathan’s hot dog at Captain
Pete’s and Adobe Roasted Chicken
at the new Waterway Grill next to
Infinity Falls.
This newly renovated 17-story tower at the
DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Orlando at
SeaWorld is the ideal place to stay while
exploring the Orlando area.
The friendly dolphins at SeaWorld
keep guests smiling.
