David Gudelunas, dean of the
College of Arts and Letters at the
University of Tampa, has released a
list of points of pride that includes a
career development program focused
on preparing students for success
post-graduation, a monographic show
of Pedro Pablo Oliva’s artwork at the
Hartley Scarfone Gallery, and having
Hein Jung perform at Carnegie Hall in
New York City, in addition to a host
of other notable accomplishments.
Boe Rushing has relocated his
popular Back in the Day Books store to
355 Main St. in Dunedin, next to Casa
Tina in the heart of downtown. He
carries an interesting selection of new
and vintage books “from the classics to
the obscure,” plus a variety of gift items.
Mary Ann Morse, The Dalí Guild’s
outgoing president, and Adele
Visaggio, incoming president, welcomed
supporters to a luncheon hosted by
Mary Ann and her husband Brad Morse
at the St. Petersburg Yacht Club.
