Da Sesto Italiano Ristorante e Vino
Sesto and Annick Ramadori

My name is Sesto Ramadori. I grew up
in Italy, in “Le Marche” region east of
Tuscany on the shores of the Adriatic
Sea, where I cooked with my Mamma, Angela. She
taught me a lot about flavors and as a young boy, her
spice rack was my chemistry set. I learned the most
important aspects of authentic Italian cooking from
her. Grazie, Mamma!
As a young adult I moved to Canada, where I made
a living as a mechanical engineer, able to repair all
sorts of machines and appliances, including pasta
machines. This is how I ended up in Florida. I was
flown out to fix a local company’s pasta machine
and ended up buying and running the Florida Pasta
Company. But my love for pasta, and all foods
Italian, brought me back into the kitchen and I ended
up selling the pasta company to open a restaurant.
Today, I am the owner and head chef of Da Sesto
Italiano Ristorante e Vino. My wife Annick works
closely with me, as does our daughter, Ashley. It is
a true blessing working so closely with those I love.
Famiglia is everything.
At our ristorante, along with our first-class staff,
there is nothing more important to me than our
clientele’s satisfaction. Our menu remains varied
with something for everyone. In addition, I prepare
weekly specialty dishes that are not on the menu
for clients looking to experience new Italian tastes.
If there is a particular dish that a client would like, I
am more than happy to oblige to create them the dish
they crave and desire to satisfy their taste buds.
I use my own recipe creations or those passed down
to me from my family. Once you eat my fresh pasta
you will have a hard time eating dried pasta. It has
something to do with the flavor and texture, which
allows the pasta to hold the sauce better. It just tastes much better!
Our ristorante is warm and inviting. Nothing complements great Italian food better than wine and ambience.
Da Sesto is intimate, yet spacious. Tables are spread apart with special areas to allow for private conversation, and
of course, romance. Lighting is soft. The décor will have you thinking you have transported back to Italy. Our wine
list is endless. I stock over 150 varied bottles from award winning vineyards throughout the world and I even have
my own brand of Da Sesto house wines.
At Da Sesto, my staff is equally important. After all, as I am in the kitchen most of the evening, it is my family
and our staff who you will meet and become friends with. My staff is knowledgeable, courteous and patient. We
like to slow things down at Da Sesto and you and your guests will not be interrupted so you can relax and unwind
the European way.
Tonight, I am preparing some amazing specialties. I will use only the freshest ingredients. The smells are in the air
and the wine bottles are being uncorked. Annick and Ashley are here with me. We are waiting for you. Mangiamo e
Buon Appetito!
