CharityWorks Toasts Sponsors
To thank sponsors of its annual Monopoly Night fundraiser, CharityWorks hosted a reception in August at the waterfront home
of Belleair Shore’s Mayor Bob Schmidt with food provided by Baystar Catering. CharityWorks, under the leadership of its founder
Chris Renfrow, offers purchasing advisory services to benefit charitable and educational nonprofit organizations.
Suzan Decker Ross of Decker Ross Interiors
and Toni Blackshear of Emerald Laser Center
were thanked for once again co-chairing
the incredibly successful and fun Monopoly
Night event last May.
Brunch for a Drug Free America
Hats were encouraged at the Florida chapter of the Foundation for a Drug Free World brunch benefit, which was hosted and
underwritten by the Church of Scientology and held in the Crystal Ballroom of its historic Fort Harrison in Clearwater. Guests
enjoyed piano music while dining on four gourmet courses prepared by a cadre of Tampa Bay area female chefs under the direction
of Chef Vanessa Marquis. The courses included Vanilla Bean Yogurt Panna Cotta, Gravlax, Surf & Turf and a French Toast Roll.
The funds raised at the event will go to the Drug Free America Foundation for its continuing drug abuse prevention efforts.
