TRAVEL
At SeaWorld’s
Journey to Atlantis,
a water ride lets you
explore this lost city.
Watching
penguins at
SeaWorld’s
Antarctica:
Empire of
the Penguin
is an interesting
experience, no
matter what
your age.
In between meals, we watched dolphins
at the Dolphin Theater and stopped by the
Dolphin Nursery to see even more of these
incredible creatures. We fed stingrays at
Stingray Lagoon before we went to Antarctica:
Empire of the Penguin. This icy world is cool in
both senses of the word, and watching these
formally attired birds mingle is fascinating.
Explorers may also enter the icy world on
foot through a new non-rider entrance.
We skipped riding the steel flying mega
coaster Manta, the monster coaster Kraken
Unleashed with its seven inversions, and the
speedy 73-mile-per hour Mako, but we could
tell from the screams that those younger and
braver than us loved them.
We ended our day with a trip to Disney
Springs, where we dined at the new Terralina
Crafted Italian restaurant and browsed
through the stores before returning to our
relaxing surroundings at the DoubleTree.
We hope to return soon, perhaps next time
with family members or friends. 9
