We love carefree cruise vacations that allow us to totally relax and
enjoy the pleasures that abound shipboard. This is especially
true on a Disney cruise. We sailed on their Dream from Cape
Canaveral to the Bahamas for three days to visit Nassau and
Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay. From the moment we arrived at
the terminal for departure, the process of unloading our bags, parking,
checking in and boarding the ship took less than 30 minutes. Once aboard,
we headed for our deluxe ocean view stateroom with a veranda to meet our
stateroom steward, who made our entire trip a joy. Though we have sailed
on the Dream before, we refreshed our memory of where everything was
by exploring the ship from bow to stern.
The Disney Dream embodies
the Disney Cruise Line tradition
of blending the grace of early
transatlantic ocean liners with
a contemporary stylish design
filled with modern features and
innovations.
