Anthology of an Artist
Tarpon Arts presents stimulating, engaging and educational performances,
workshops, concerts and art celebrating the heritage and culture of the area
to help make the city of Tarpon Springs a dynamic cultural destination. At
a recent event sponsored by AdventHealth, North Pinellas, artist Christopher
Still traced his life and artwork through spellbinding stagings, videos and
giant projections of his work. Chris discussed his pieces from inception to
completion including the ten murals he created for the Florida House of
Representatives, classic work such as the paintings he did for Ruth Eckerd
Hall, and the paintings he created for the Belleview Inn, Opal Sands Resort,
Sandpearl Resort and Tampa International Airport. The presentation was
one more example of Christopher Still’s genius.
