AN INAUGURAL EVENT

President Woodrow Wilson’s Pierce-Arrow limousine was
celebrating its 100th birthday at the Concours.
This automobile show that benefited the Tampa Shriners Hospital was
organized by the Hillsborough Region Antique Automobile Club of
America and was held in Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park in Tampa on the
banks of the Hillsborough River, across from the historic minarets of the
University of Tampa. The show was headlined by President Woodrow Wilson’s
1919 Pierce-Arrow limousine from the Presidential Library and Museum at his
birthplace in Staunton, Virginia. The show field was filled with cars of all ages,
styles, makes and origins. Next year’s event is scheduled for April 17-19, 2020.
