Preview Party for European Masterpieces
The Museum of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg hosted a Members’ Preview Party for its “A Feast for the Eyes: European Masterpieces
from the Grasset Collection.” The exclusive exhibit features rare, privately owned old master paintings dating from 1600 to 1750
that are on loan from the Grasset family of Spain for exhibition through July 28th.
Cristina Grasset and members of her family,
who traveled to St. Petersburg to see the
exhibition of masterpieces from their family’s
home in Spain, were thanked by Museum
of Fine Arts’ Executive Director Kristen
Shepherd for sharing their treasures.
John Sloan, a former executive director of
the Museum of Fine Arts, and his partner
Terry Leet, a distinguished interior designer,
enjoyed this rare glimpse into the carefully
collected and assembled private art collection
of extraordinary works.
Ranee and Dr. Bob Drapkin, who have loaned
and donated photographs from their personal
collection to the museum, appreciated the
pleasure of viewing the art in a gallery
setting at the Museum of Fine Arts.

Renowned artist Christopher Still reopened his studio of fine painting in Tarpon Springs after a three-year hiatus during which
he was working on his paintings for the Belleview Inn in Belleair. This was the first opportunity for his collectors to purchase
original paintings and drawings he created during that period. All of his current work was sold within the first two days of his
nine-day exhibit.
Katelyn Dunkel and her husband
Jason, the CEO of AdventHealth, North
Pinellas, are excited that Christopher
Still’s next major project will be
commissioned by AdventHealth’s
hospital in Tarpon Springs.
Katherine and Richard Park, two of
Christopher’s most devoted collectors,
purchased this painting of roses during
Chris’ exhibit.
Jim and Cecelia Ferman, who collect Christopher
Still’s work, thanked him for his creative
presentation at this opening.
