We are fortunate to work
with such a caring and
supportive community.
For more than 42 years,
Suncoast Hospice has been honored
to be Pinellas County’s first and only
nonprofit hospice, caring for thousands
of patients and their families each year.
Thanks in part to the business
community’s generous financial support
for our Suncoast Hospice Foundation,
Suncoast Hospice and other Empath
Health members can continue to provide
much-needed care, support and comfort
for all people in our community, whether
or not they have the means to pay.
Several local businesses and
organizations play a pivotal role in
helping to support, sustain and further
our mission. They partner and give in
many ways, including sponsorships,
donations, participation with events,
hosting community fundraisers and
performing volunteer service.
Some of our corporate sponsors include:
Curlew Hills Memory Gardens –
provides ongoing support, including
underwriting our advance care
planning educational materials used
in the community; event sponsorships;
hosting a Veterans History Project
Community Story Day for recording
war-era veterans’ stories; and a major
gift pledge
Stahl & Associates Insurance –
provides annual support as the
presenting sponsor of our Suncoast
Hospice Ball
Vology – provides year-round support,
including sponsoring our Suncoast
Hospice Golf Classic, Suncoast
Hospice Beach Stroll and Suncoast
Hospice Ball; employee participation
with events; and a corporate gift pledge.
Support for our special events keeps
our programs running and helps to
ensure that no patient is turned away.
Some of our corporate volunteer
partners include:
Capital One – Tampa office LGBTQ+
employee group provided quarterly
support at our EPIC Tampa
campus, including filing, cleaning,
beautification, cooking, serving and
spending time with clients
Duke Energy – employee groups
volunteer each spring, including
recently sorting and organizing items
and other help at our Suncoast Hospice
Resale Shops; preparing Empath
Honors’ lapel pins for veterans;
preparing EPIC’s HIV testing packets;
holding a food drive for EPIC’s pantry
for clients; and other support
Moffitt Cancer Center – LGBTQ+
employee group recently planted and
beautified the flower beds at our EPIC
Tampa campus and participated in
the Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger
Food Drive for EPIC’s pantry for clients
Raymond James – employee groups
recently painted and repaired the
boardwalk at our North Pinellas Care
Center.
A heartfelt thanks to all of the
community’s invaluable contributions
to our mission. Together we can make a
difference for many people who need care
and support. To learn more about how
