RememberWhen
Highlights from Our Past Issues
25 YEARS AGO - July/August 1994
The Dunedin Fine Art Center completed its three-year ”Florida Treasures” art
mural project featuring almost 3,000 ceramic tiles, which were sold to and painted by
members of the community to help raise funds for the center’s expansion. This tribute
to Florida’s beautiful natural environment and the community’s artistic expression
continues to stand outside the now greatly expanded DFAC facilities that bring arts
education to the area.

our area in public places
and in private spaces.

10 YEARS AGO - July/August 2009
In this issue, we featured
The Florida Aquarium’s
initiative for sustainable
seafood choices when dining
and for fishing responsibly.
The aquarium was working
on educating the seafood
industry and restaurants about
sustainable seafood. The topic
remains as important now
as it was then, particularly
since consumers dictate the
decisions that are made by
the fishing and restaurant
industries.
