glass from the United States and around the world. This will
give Imagine Museum visitors a chance to stroll through
Hampson Gallery and see the current “showstoppers” in
Studio Glass. For collectors, it also gives an opportunity to
come to St. Petersburg to experience and buy from our Glass
Coast. With more artists wanting to work with glass, more
hot shops are beginning to open, or are in the works to open
with co-ops and pay-per-hour arrangements. More people
are being drawn to the region from around the country to
experience the vitality of this cultural scene surrounding
this very lush and inviting material.
Thanks to Ms. Duggan, I say we are on this rocket ship to
the stars! The artwork being assembled for the Tampa Bay
community is beyond what anyone has experienced in this
medium worldwide. It is spectacular and will take your
breath away. However, we are not stopping there.
Looking forward, we are beginning to incorporate
spatial computing into the experience at the museum. We
now want to take you further and challenge your thinking
by incorporating new ways of seeing and experiencing
dimensionality through the technology being developed
