America; CBS News; on the contrary, Kaylee wanted
to talk to Vivacious readers about her love for Jesus
Christ and the direction He is leading her life.
She grew-up in the church. Her grandfather was
a pastor. Most of her life has been about attending
church Sunday morning, Sunday night, and
Wednesday night. Somewhere around her ninthgrade
year in school, Kaylee gave it all to Him. She
recognized what Jesus Christ had done for her in
giving His all for her, and she wanted to do the same
for him.
“I understand the enormous plan God has for my
life and the lives of others. I want to live my life

the way God wants me to live it,” Kaylee stated with
talk to people, in my friendships, and in my actions.”
Kaylee’s family is very important to her. Her older
sister Rylee is a tremendous role model for Kaylee.
Kaylee laughs, “Rylee will say she is my biggest fan.
Little does she know, I am hers!”
Her parents, Rendy and Jerry Foster, instilled a belief
within her and her sister to ask questions, be
curious, and not to be afraid to try something new.
They made sure she was at church, and they lived
as role models for what Christianity looks like in
action. She attributes much of the person she is to
her family. “My family has always been there for me.
If one person couldn’t be there, someone else was,”
said Foster. “Rylee and I were encouraged to try all
kinds of different things. We were told we had to
OK. We just needed to try.” And, Kaylee has tried it
all: dance, gymnastics, tennis, before realizing her
love for soccer and football.
Kaylee wants to inspire Vivacious readers to seek
out Jesus Christ. “If you are unsure of Who He is,
look for someone who knows and loves Him. Ask
questions. The Bible can be hard to read and understand.
Never be afraid to be curious about God. It is
too important a part of life to push aside.”
Adventure awaits as Kaylee prepares to attend Mississippi
College in Clinton, Mississippi, where she
will be a member of the soccer team. When asked
if she had any aspirations of kicking for the football
team Kaylee laughed, “You never know!”
Having experienced a great deal in such a short
time, Kaylee acknowledges Whose Hand is over her
life. She wants to use her gifts and talents to glorify
Him. Jesus is the driving force before all else.
She believed she could – so she did. There couldn’t be
all our Vivacious Readers.
You were made “…for just such a time as this.”
