change in the face. The struggle is real, the emotions
are real, the doubt is real, and the search for relief is
VERY real. Anxiety convinces us that we are alone
and the mountain in front of us is immovable, impassable
and impossible. So how are we as daughters
of the High King to mightily stand face-to-face
with anxiety and come out victorious?
We can give grace to the gap of uncontrollable
circumstances.
We thankfully receive grace and
often freely give it to those around
us, but what about giving grace to
the gap of uncontrollable circumstances?
In scripture we see Rehab
we know Jonah’s story doesn’t end
remember in the midst of their trial,
they too found themselves swallowed
by uncontrollable circumstances.
Change is simply one of the
byproducts of living. Giving grace
doesn’t always minimize the struggle,
“Anxiety is rooted in the
fact that we feel like we
have no control. Here’s the
truth, you can’t control the
uncontrollable. You must
trust that God will take care
of what you can’t control.

Many voices speak into times of change and moments
of anxiety. These voices can often lead to doubt in our
ability to persevere and result in the loss of direction.
The promises of God are still Yes and Amen. When
provisions seem to lack, we can cover ourselves with
His promises. We serve a God that keeps His Word,

We can shift our focus off the problem and onto
serving through the struggle.
It’s easy in the midst of our trials and struggles to
naturally remove ourselves from
acts of service. The enemy’s plan
through anxiety is to put blinders
on us. The last thing we want when
our soul is screaming to be served
is to see, hear or feel the struggle
of others. But often we magnify the
problem when we stay laser focused
on our hardship. Circling continuously
around our problem can block
compassion. The beauty of serving
others inside of our pain is that it
often results in the deepest healings.
