The colorful, unique stained glass donor wall welcomes patrons to the upstairs Dress Circle Lounge.
Susan Crockett, Ruth Eckerd Hall president and CEO, oversaw
its recent $11 million renovation that includes a stunning threestory,
floor-to-ceiling windowed expansion of its grand lobby. This
6,000-square-foot space is home to the New Kate Tiedemann and
Ellen Cotton Cabaret Theatre and the Holt Family Stage. Frank
Hibbard, Ruth Eckerd Hall board chairman, is most proud of
the opportunities the new space creates for the hall’s educational
programs.
The renovation doubled the size of the private Dress Circle
Lounge, where donors and members have a spectacular bird’seye
view of the grand new lobby in great comfort. The interior
renovations include enhanced food and beverage service for
patrons in a stunning décor that has added seating, custom
acoustical and lighting features, along with a video wall measuring
34 feet, 5 inches by 6 feet, 5 inches.
